| We all share hopes for a peaceful planet.
Silk Moon Gallery hopes to contribute in some small way to weaving a web of peace by focusing attention on human commonalities that we share across cultures: a deep-rooted fascination with fine craftsmanship and the need for and love of adornment for our homes and bodies.
We seek to foster empathy and understanding between cultures by exploring, educating, and celebrating ethnic arts and crafts traditions from developing countries.

Silk Moon is building a web of support between fair-minded shoppers in the developed world and highly skilled, hard-working artisans in developing countries.
In our fifth year of operation, we are highlighting the fine quality textiles produced by weavers and artisans we have met and worked with in Laos, Thailand, and Bali.
